With over 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, real – world experience, and personal insight to every client interaction. Please remember, I am not your expert, you are!
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) a Certified Health and Life Coach, trained in Advance Nutrition and Certified Anger Management Specialist – which support one another – Hangry is a real thing.
My career has taken me from direct care roles all the way to executive leadership, giving me a comprehensive view of what people could practice to bring balance — mentally, emotionally, and physically to their world.

Behavior Modification
To make those desired changes we must modify our behaviors. To do this we need to be aware of the little things we are doing without notice – like grabbing that second cookie , glass of wine or choosing to binge watch a terrific NetFlix show instead of taking that cycle class OR maybe its how we react to situations that sneak into our lives – scream much, cry much?
Change
Changing a habit take time, determination and patients. Rome was not build in a day & neither were your bad habits!

How Pause2Balance Became My Mantra
1970 – Present: A lifetime of learning, growing, and evolving.
How long does it take to truly know yourself?
Exactly—forever.
Life keeps shifting. The world changes. Our environments, our relationships, even our inner dialogue are in constant motion. That means we have to keep adjusting, keep growing, keep finding new ways to roll with the waves.
That’s where Pause2Balance was born.
I discovered that giving myself permission to pause—whether it’s for 2 seconds, 2 minutes, or 2 hours—changes everything. That space allows me to think before I react, to check in with how I’m feeling, and to come back to center before making a choice. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
That pause gives me the power to respond with intention, instead of impulse. To realign, rebalance, and make decisions that lead to better outcomes—for myself, and for those around me.
Pause2Balance isn’t just a mantra. It’s a mindset. It’s a practice. And it’s one of the most valuable tools I’ve learned in my journey through life and behavioral health.
